Course Overview
Curious about welding? This hands-on workshop is designed for beginners who want to learn the fundamentals of Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW/MIG) and Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) in a safe, professional training environment.
Over four evenings, participants will learn welding safety, equipment setup, welding terminology, and basic techniques while gaining valuable hands-on experience in the welding booth. Whether you’re exploring a career in the skilled trades, looking to develop a new skill, or simply interested in welding, this workshop is a great place to start.
No prior welding experience is required. NIT provides all welding equipment, tools, safety gear, and materials needed for training.
