COURSE DESCRIPTION
This 40 hour program provides students with the basic knowledge needed for employment in any of the industrial trades. Students learn basic safety, introduction to construction math and an introduction to hand tools. This course helps enable students to choose which course of study they wish to pursue in the construction trades. NCCER Core Curriculum is the base of all NCCER Programs.

STANDARD INDUSTRY PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Considerable amount of walking
- Lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Bend
- Kneel
- Stoop
- Work at heights and in extreme weather
- Strong reading and math skills
PREREQUISITES FOR ENROLLMENT
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid Driver’s License or Photo ID Card
- Social Security Card
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
COURSE COST:
$750
It is the applicant’s responsibility to secure funding or provide payment for tuition and any training related costs. Additional costs not included in this price are, but not limited to: drug test and physicals, AWS certification fees, transportation, room and board, child care, etc.
