High School Electrical II

Building upon the foundational knowledge gained in previous coursework, this advanced course in residential electrical wiring equips students with the skills & expertise necessary to excel in the field. Safety remains paramount, with continued emphasis on comprehensive safety protocols for working with electricity, ensuring the well-being of both individuals & properties.

Participants will further examine the intricate requirements for electrical installations, focusing on installing boxes, lighting fixtures, devices, & cable with precision & efficiency. Through hands-on instruction & practical exercises, students will develop a functional understanding of installation techniques, learning to navigate the complexities of residential wiring projects & trimming out service panels with confidence.

Instruction also focuses on the essential aspects of maintenance & troubleshooting of residential electrical systems, empowering students to identify & address issues effectively. Finally, participants will be introduced to green wiring techniques, exploring innovative approaches to residential electrical installations that prioritize energy efficiency & sustainability. Upon completion of this course, students will emerge with knowledge, skills, & confidence in their abilities.

Our courses meet the requirements for credit & can qualify for credit transfer as shown below. Please note - transfer of credit is always at the discretion of the receiving school.
