ELDT Theory Class B to A Upgrade

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

As of February 7th, 2022, all drivers applying for upgrade from a Class B CDL to a Class A CDL must complete the curriculum outlined in 49CFR Part 380 Appendix A minus 8 units. This program meets the requirements for the Theory Instruction Upgrade Curriculum portion of the required training. Additional behind the wheel (BTW) training will be required prior to taking the Class A CDL Road Exam through your State Driver Licensing Agency or authorized third-party test facility.

PROGRAM LAYOUT:

Open enrollment after February 7th. This course is taught virtually through Blackboard and is self-paced. All applicants will have one month from date of registry to complete the course. More time can be offered at an additional cost.

After registering online, you will need to email a copy/photo of your Drivers License or Commercial Learners Permit to admissions@nitalaska.com in order to complete your enrollment. Once this has been received, log in information for Blackboard will be manually created by NIT staff and emailed to applicants during office hours.
