STUDENT POLICIES

NIT’s motto is: Train Here, Work Anywhere! This is because NIT students are given the skills and knowledge necessary to work not only in Alaska, but across the United States. Whether it be learning how to operate a commercial vehicle on our 80+ acre training range, or completing your first weld in our state-of-the-art welding shop, as an NIT student, you will learn, practice, and apply your skills in a work-ready environment.
